Who is eligible for HomeTrust?
To be eligible, you must be
• a Singapore Resident*;
• at least eighteen (18) years old; and
*Singapore Resident means a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident or a valid Work Permit Holder or holder of a valid Employment Pass, Dependent’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, S Pass or Student Pass issued by the authorities in Singapore.
Can HomeTrust replace my existing fire mortgage policy?
HomeTrust is a complimentary home insurance, underwritten by Chubb, arranged by Luxus for their customers via a group policy. It is not meant to be a replacement for your existing fire mortgage policy.
What coverage is provided for my contents/ and renovations under this policy?
The policy provides coverage for loss of or damage to your contents or renovations which you or members of your household own or are legally responsible for, which are in the insured home and where the loss or damage is caused by any of the defined events occurring during the period of coverage.

What type of defined events are covered for my contents/renovations?
HomeTrust will cover you against :
– Fire, lighting or explosion
– Storm, hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, flood
– Bursting, leaking, discharging, or overflowing
– Earthquake
– Impact
– Riot or civil commotion
– Acts of malicious damage or vandalism
– Theft, attempted theft or burglary
What is covered under Replacement of Locks and Keys?
Cost of replacing locks and keys to the external doors or windows if the keys are stolen or due to a violent and forcible entry to your insured home.
What is covered under Loss of Money?
Theft of money within your home in the event of violent and forcible entry to your insured home, up to specified sum insured.
What are the major exclusions for this policy?
The following are excluded from the policy coverage:
• wear and tear
• mechanical, electrical or electronic breakdown including power surge except when caused by a defined event;
• mildew and atmospheric or climatic conditions other than by rain, sleet and hail;
• domestic animals;
• vermin, insects or by the pecking, clawing, chewing, eating or nesting by birds and other wildlife;
• any process of cleaning, repairing, restoring or retouching of any item;
• any process involving the application of heat or the use of chemicals;
• Tenants, roomers, boarders or paying guests and their visitors arising from or due to larceny, theft, malicious damage or vandalism or deliberate or intentional acts;
• settlement, shrinkage, vibration or expansion in buildings, foundations, walls or pavements;
• faulty workmanship, inherent defect, errors or omissions in design, structural defects and faulty design;
• water seeping or otherwise percolating through a wall, floor or roof;
• the roots of trees, shrubs, plants and grass;
• erosion;
• mould, fungi, fungus, wet or dry rot or bacteria.

How long is the policy coverage?
The policy covers your insured residence for a duration of 12 months from date of enrolment.
How do I know if I have successfully enrolled into the insurance group policy?
Upon confirmation of your enrolment, you will receive an email from Chubb containing details of your successful enrolment into the group policy.
What should I do if there’s a change in my residential address?
Please contact Chubb’s Customer Service Representatives via WhatsApp at https://wa.me/6562990988 to provide your updated address.
How do I make a claim?
Please visit Chubb’s e-Services portal – MyAccount at https://apac.myaccount.chubb.com/myaccount/sg/default/default/default/en-SG to submit your claim online.

How to Apply for HomeTrust
To be eligible for cover under the complimentary group policy, fill in the form below after you have completed your Luxus products purchase. Please note that:
- To be eligible for HomeTrust, you need to meet the minimum spending of $1,000 on Luxus products, and you must be a Singapore Resident aged 18 years and above.
Singapore Resident means a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident or a valid Work Permit Holder or holder of a valid Employment Pass, Dependant’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, S Pass or Student Pass issued by the authorities in Singapore. - Each purchase entitles you to redemption of one (1) individual policy only.
- You can only be covered under one (1) HomeTrust policy underwritten by Chubb.
- Your application will be processed within 14 working days.
- Upon confirmation of your enrolment, you will receive an email from Chubb Insurance with your policy details.
